Technical workshop on “How to monitor the Mediterranean Strategy for Sustainable Development 2016-2025 and the Regional Plan on Sustainable Consumption and Production in the Mediterranean ?”

The technical workshop, co-organized by Plan Bleu and SCP-RAC (Regional Activity Centre for Sustainable Consumption and Production), took place in Barcelona, on 17 October 2016.

The main objectives were:

To present and discuss a first version of the Mediterranean Sustainability Dashboard
To present and discuss a first version of the “Blue Economy” dashboard
To present and receive feedback from the countries on the first draft of set of SCP indicators.
To agree on a first proposal of mandate for the Technical Working Group on SCP indicators.

This workshop was held back to back with the SwitchMed Connect 2016, the second annual gathering of the European Union (EU) funded SwitchMed Programme with more than 300 Mediterranean stakeholders to build synergies, exchange knowledge, and scale up eco and social innovations.
