Going to Sophia Antipolis
1/ From Nice Airport:
- Public transportation: Bus 230 from the Airport to Sophia Antipolis (one every 15-20 minutes, from 06:30 to 20:42). Stop at “SKEMA”. It is a 35 minutes trip. Price for one way ticket: 1.50 Euros. Plan Bleu premises, Omega hotel and Novotel hotel are then at a few minutes walk.

2/ From Antibes train station:
- Public transportation: Bus 100 Express in direction of Sophia Antipolis (one every 10-15 minutes). Stop at “SKEMA”. It is a 20-minute trip. Price for one way ticket: 1 Euro. Plan Bleu premises, Omega hotel and Novotel hotel are then at a few minutes walk.
3/ By car:
Exit highway n°44 Antibes – follow Valbonne direction – Access 3 of Sophia Antipolis – pass by Omega hotel and drive straight away for 300 meters until you see Plan Bleu’s board.

A room is booked for sponsored participants at the Omega hotel, 5 minutes-walk from Plan Bleu premises (see map below).

Meeting venue
The meeting will take place in the premises of Plan Bleu: 15 rue Ludwig Van Beethoven – 06560 Valbonne Sophia Antipolis . Please note that the bus stop “Skema” is located just between Hôtel Omega and Plan Bleu.
Visa
The participants from countries for which a visa is mandatory to enter French territory are invited to apply for visa through the closest French consulate authority. Warning: The waiting period for processing visas can be lengthy, thus it is imperative to request an appointment with the closest French consulate as soon as you receive the meeting invitation
When going to the consulate’s appointment, please bring with you the Schengen visa application form (available below). For the other documents needed, please check with the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ website. In order to facilitate the formalities, Plan Bleu will send the participants an official invitation letter and will send a copy to the concerned consulate authority. Warning: For those representatives, whose expenses are covered by the Project, remember to ask for a receipt for the visa expenses in order to have them reimbursed by Plan Bleu.
Seminar day
- Seminar expenses (lunch, coffee breaks) will be covered by Plan Bleu for all participants.
- Food will be without pork. Vegetarian meal will be also proposed. Please let us know in advance about other diet or food allergies.
- The working languages will be English and French.
- Simultaneous translation in French and English will be available.
Daily subsistence allowance
After the meeting, for those experts whose expenses are covered by Plan Bleu, a per diem will be transfered to their bank account to cover those meals not directly covered by Plan Bleu and other expenses during their stay (phone calls, transportation…). Accommodations expenses will be directly covered by Plan Bleu.
It should also be noted that for legal reason, on the occasion of meetings organization, Plan Bleu needs the following supporting documents to participants:
- Passport copy
- Original receipt of visa and assurance expenses
- Original boarding pass- Go
- Original boarding pass- Return very important to keep it safe and send it back after your return
In absence of such elements, it will be difficult to give the total amount.
